The Stellarvue 102mm Deluxe Super Planetary SV102T Telescope only SV102T is Stellarvue 's finest 4" refractor telescope. Remove imagethe extension and this Super Planetary SV102T 102 mm Telescope may be used with a Stellarvue binoviewer without any optical correctors. This provides the widest possible field of view while bino-viewing. This Stellarvue telescope perform the same when used for single eye viewing. All Stellarvue telescopes come with a fully baffled, all aluminum tube and each one is personally star tested by Vic Maris. The most advanced high dispersion glass types are used in making the optics in this telescope. It uses a flat field, highly corrected, air-spaced triplet using an optical design that is free of zones, eliminates secondary color, astigmatism, coma, spherical and higher order aberrations. The Deluxe Super Planetary SV102T by Stellarvue triplet lens uses a very high homogeneity Super ED glass. Excellent full-multi-coatings are used on all six surfaces enhancing light transmission and contrast. The lens will perform on par with any of the high end instruments on the market and significantly outperform many of the import lenses currently available. All Stellarvue SV 102T 102 mm lenses are hand figured by a master optician to achieve the best possible optical null. The lenses in these telescopes are tested with interferometric devices, a Zygo test machine and actual star test for color correction, spherical aberration, astigmatism, coma, and zonal color aberration.
