TAG Mayhem Armor Carrier, A-TACS has a releasable design which allows the user to cut away the carrier in any emergency situation. The design of these Tactical Assault Gear Tactical Vest also allows medical personnel to quickly remove the armor carrier without having to cut it off the wearer. The body armor carrier can be simply released by pulling the handle in any direction. The tactical vest by Tactical Assault Gear will cut away from both shoulders as well as the back. The pull handle is located in the center of the neck line. Mayhem A-TACS Armor Carriers shoulder and upper torso sections are covered in a rubberized nylon providing a non-slip surface for rifle stocks, pack straps and slings. Tactical Assault Gear Mayhem Armor Plate Carriers are made to fit the SPEAR/BALCS cut soft armor as well as ballistic plates sizes small through large long. These upper body armor carriers also have internal pockets which can hold 6" x 6" side plates, as well as accept throat, neck, groin, and deltoid armor.
