Uniform temperatures are maintained by broad surface heater, internal centrifugal pump, and a direct immersion platinum sensor. Microprocessor controlled temperature settings in 0.1°C increments. Bright LED temperature display. User-set high-limit thermostat prevents thermal runaway. Smooth stainless steel chamber. Corrosion-resistant epoxy-polyester exterior for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Temperature range is from 5° above ambient to 99.9°C with ±0.05°C uniformity at 37°C. The temperature sensitivity is ±0.05°C. Maximum temperature is achieved using the gable cover. Without cover, maximum temperature is 70°C. Capacities are given for bath filled within 2.54cm (1") of top.
All models meet ASTM Method E 715 Class IIA standards for temperature uniformity. The 120V models are UL listed and come with a standard 120V power cord and plug. The 240V model is CE marked and comes with a European-style power cord and plug.
