Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope 2601 Product Info

Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope is a great choice for terrestrial or astronomical viewing. imageVixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope is a short focal length refractor with a unique flip mirror system that allows either straight through viewing by day or 90 degree viewing by night for astronomy. The Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope uses any standard 1.25" eyepiece (not included) and by removing the mirror assembly, you can even use 2" telescope eyepieces (not included) for wide field, straight through viewing. Also included is a red dot reflex finderscope with eleven brightness settings to aid in pinpointing objects.

The Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope converts easily to a 400mm telephoto lens for SLR photography. Simply unscrew the eyepiece barrel from the mirror housing and replace it with a t-ring (not included) for your brand and model of SLR camera.

This version is the Vixen Telescope only, but it attaches to any Vixen mount or remove the Vixen dovetail and the Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope attaches to any standard photo tripod. For visual astronomy, we recommend the Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope with Porta Mount. For those who wish to do astrophotography, the Vixen A80SSWT OTA Telescope with GP-E Mount and AL-150 Tripod offers more potential.
