Vixen VMC260L Cassegrain Telescopes 260mm and Sphinx SXD Mount Product Info

Vixen VMC260L Telescope 260mm and Sphinx SXD Mount 86692 features a large 260mm aperture, yet is compact and light weight, weighing in at just 22image pounds. The catadioptric optical design features two element corrector lens in front of the secondary mirror. Aberrations fromt he spherical mirrors are corrected perfectly. The focusing telescope system is accomplished by primary mirror movement. The VMC260L 86692 Telescope by Vixen provides sharp, high contrast images. The Sphinx SXD mount incorporates one piece hardened steel RA and DEC shafts with needle bearings throughout, the new Sphinx telescope mount can handle a load capacity up to 50 lbs. The Vixen Sphinx SXD comes complete with PEC and the incredibly accurate SX Polar Finder Scope.
