For determining metric density of petroleum products. Manufactured in strict accordance with ISO standards to serve users involved in the international transportation of petroleum products. Adopted by ASTM and their use sanctioned as the metric standard of petroleum hydrometers/thermometers. Suitable for certification for use as a primary reference standard. A certificate is provided to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The thermometer scale is in the body and has 1°C subdivisions. Items 35126-268 to 35126-286 have a range of –20 to 65°C; 35126-288 has a range of 0 to 35°C. Hydrometers/thermometers are approximately 380mm (15") long.
