Polystyrene vials are clear, providing a safe and economical alternative to glass vials. Scratch-resistant K-Resin® copolymer vials offer glasslike clarity and are ideal for microscopic examination. K-Resin vials are more flexible than polystyrene vials, which makes them excellent for freezing and shipping specimens. Neither the polystyrene nor the K-Resin vials are autoclavable.
