Product Category Description:

Ideal for sieving applications where larger sample sizes are required, these testing sieves have a 30.5cm (12") brass frame with stainless steel wire cloth. Depth to cloth is 4.1cm (15/8") on half height sieves, 5.1cm (2") on intermediate height sieves, and 8.3cm (31/4") on full height sieves.

All sieves are inspected with an optical measurement system traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Each sieve bears a traceable serial number and comes with a certificate of compliance applicable to ASTM E-11 and ISO specifications.

Accessories include a half height brass bottom pan (47730-578) that can be placed beneath a stack of sieves; a half height brass bottom pan with extended rim (47730-580) to stack sieves below the bottom pan; a brass cover (47730-582) that covers the top of the stack of sieves; and a CENTERLINE® measurement (47730-590) which is a NIST traceable service that checks calibration and gives statistical measurement information on each sieve.
