Product Category Description:

Unit provides a sharp readout in dim or very bright light and features a high accuracy meter, wide temperature range, and long battery life (150–200 continuous hours). The recessed front panel and adjustable offset allow the unit to be precisely adjusted to a specific temperature, in-house calibration, or particular sensor for increased accuracy. The hold button freezes the display to capture a current reading. Compatible with all type-K probes.

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Ordering Information: Supplied with type-K probe with 101.6cm (40") cable, bench stand, carrying case, and 9V battery.

Over all, not a bad unit. If you are looking for a cheap solution that can read a varying range (over 500 C) this is the unit. I killed the K adapted in some 350 C H2SO4 I was using for a digestion I was doing but since it has the standard adapter ...
