This Rifle Scope Base by theimage expert product engineers at Warne Scope Mounts are CNC precision machined from solid steel, held to a very tight tolerance. The Warne Maxima Low Profile 2 Piece Rifle Scope Base, when used in conjunction with the Warne QD Rings, allows the shooter to utilize the open sights by looking over the top of the bases without sacrificing a normal shooting position. The full width recoil slot on this Warne Mounting Base allows the recoil control keys of Warne rings to attain maximum bearing surface, thus reducing severe recoil damage.
