For HPLC. These columns are packed with PartiSphere spherical 5µm media which feature a narrow particle size distribution and reproducibility. Typical efficiencies are above 75,000 plates per meter. Dual porosity frit distributes sample evenly across the column cross-section. WVS (Whatman Void Sealing) columns have hand-tightened end fittings, and the integral void sealing system mechanism prolongs column life. PartiSphere spherical media are available in eight 5µm phases.
C8 is recommended for ion pair chromatography. This is an end-capped monomeric phase with a 6% carbon load. Provides high efficiency and rapid mass transfer while maintaining excellent peak shape and stability over a range of aqueous mobile phase compositions.
