Ideal for critical cytologic diagnosis, culture preparations, and large volume applications. Other specific applications include aerospace fluid analysis, water testing, chemical assay, petroleum products analysis, solvent filtration, and bacteria monitoring.

Plastic surface of membranes is chemically resistant and unaffected by most solutions used for fixation and staining. Can sustain temperatures up to 140°C with no adverse effects. Membranes have birefringent refractive indexes of 1.625 and 1.584.
