Base plate with alphanumeric grid holds 9mm diameter conical-bottom glass vials. Base plate features an open bottom for even heating or cooling of vials when immersed. Plates do not float in a water bath. Plates can be stacked and plate height can be adjusted with spacers to hold 0.5mL, 1mL, and 1.5mL vials, depending on the height limitations of the instrument.
Vials are made of borosilicate glass. Conical design permits maximum sample access. Vials fit securely in plate for use with shakers or vortex mixers during sample preparation. Plate cover and liners provide a seal for individual samples to prevent sample evaporation and cross contamination. Cover locks the liner in place and prevents vial pullout.
