All Varipoint models are equipped with a unique illuminated red dot reticle for use in bright daylight as well as in twilight. Diavari models contain standard and illuminated reticles that meet the requirements of every hunt. The Zeiss Victory Diavari / Varipoint 2.5-10x42 T* Riflescope features a variable 2.5x - 10x magnification that is low enough for close shots, and high enough for long range shots. These Zeiss Victory 2.5-10x42 T* Riflescopes also have a 42mm Objective Lens that maximizes the amount of light entering the rifle scope, producing clear and bright images.

Complementing the performance of Zeiss lenses are their high quality multicoatings. Zeiss Victory Riflescopes feature the T* Multicoating which increases light transmission, and minimizes the level of stray light. Light transmission for all Zeiss Riflescopes are over 90%. With the T* Multicoating, hunters will enjoy an amazing image brightness, especially in twilight conditions such as dawn or dusk. In addition to the T* Multicoating, the lenses also feature the LotuTec Lens Coating (Varipoint models only). The LotuTec Coating makes the lenses water resistant, causing water to immediately drip off the lens, which provides good vision in the rain.
