Ideal for cleaning up small spills and wiping down contaminated areas, these pads allow the user to quickly spread sorbent to and in the path of a spill. Pads may also be used on a work surface in anticipation of a spill or as a wipe. Low-profile design allows pads to be easily placed in tight areas. High-capacity pads have a scrim on one side to increase strength and minimize linting.

Sorbent can handle aggressive fluids such as acids (including hydrofluoric acid), bases, coolants, and most other hazardous fluids, as well as nonaggressive chemicals, petroleum-based fluids, and aqueous-based solutions, reducing the need to stock several different sorbent types for emergency response.
