The BD CellRight MX Fasto Plate Library has been created to provide researchers with an easy-to-use system for performing Southern and Northern blots. This media plate is perfect for Southern blotting as it allows the adherence of the Southern blot (Sigma-Sellitchuk basal plates) to the surface of the plate. The BD CellRight MX Plate can be used for Southern and Northern blotting however it does not allow the adherence of the Southern blot. Many of the cells that differentiate the differentiating cells are the same for both media plates so a balanced growth factor infusion can be performed if the correct diluents are provided.
