Why is the cut out level set so high? Electronic protection is in the 85db range for protection to cut in, these wait until 110db. Expert Answer

The filters are ANSI IPIL certified up to 166 dB with a max NRR of 31. For more information regarding the specifications of the product I suggest reaching out to Decibullz directly.
