Does this have a foot print common to other red dots. Is there an absolute cowitness mount or a lower than a low cowitness mount available?

OPMOD (Optics Planet Modification) offers the Holosun AEMS in both FDE and Wolf Grey options. The original AEMS is offered only in Black. There is also the AEMS CORE model, which is an AEMS that doesn't use a multi-reticle system, no solar failsafe, and no flip covers. The AEMS CORE is only offered in black.

Is the only difference between the regular aems and opmod aems is the fde color ?

Yes, this AEMS model features an FDE color exclusive to Optics Planet and also has the OPMOD logo printed to the side of the optic.
