This Raynet (F) to SeaTalk-hs Socket Adapter allows for the conversion of legacy RJ45 network connections to Ethernet connections using a plug connector, enabling legacy Raymarine SeaTalk-HS devices to be added to a new or existing Raymarine SeaTalk-HS network, or older C & E Series equipment that utilizes an RJ45 port and SeaTalk-HS communications technology. This easy to install adapter also allows for the mid-way or deep-angle installation in order to avoid hitting the SeaTalk-HS network ports which are located at the helm and at the helm, typically at the console or near the rudders. This allows for legacy Raynet connections to legacy Raynet communications connections, which is Raymarine's proprietary high-speed, low-jitter, cross-band Ethernet technology implemented in the switch, router, and director.
