very impressive
Bought this for use on an AK. The optic is extremely sturdy regardless of size. Very impressed with the simplicity and ease of use. Now that the T1 comes in a 2 MOA version, I like this much more than the Aimpoint M4 due to similar specs in a light weight and smaller size package. The main drawb...

Cheap Junk
So i see this AME POINT come across Instagram with RAVE reviews. Well, they must have written the reviews them selves. I ordered 2 of them, one for myself and one for a family member, who is Ex- Army. Well first of all, they must have been delivered by a snail....4 weeks. They are nothing other then...

Aimpoint T1
Typical Aimpoint quality. After years of resisting I’ve really come to enjoy the ruggedness and light weight of the Aimpoint micro red dot sight. The cost is hard to get over but knowing that the sight is good to go for years on a single battery is awesome.

Fantastic red dot
The aimpoint is built to last and very accurate. Holds zero through thick and thin. The only down side is that ou need the special little tool or the cap of the turret to make any adjustments in wind age or elevation. Still the best though.

Aimpoint micro T1
Very solid optic especially at Optics Plantet pricing! Dependable, easy to operate and zero with a minimal footprint and very little weight. Plenty of brightness settings for various environments. I was always on the fence about spending this amount of hard earned money on a red dot. But after purchasing my first T1 years ago, I realized their is a major difference in quality, durability, and battery life compared to competing optics. T1 vs T2, yes I do like the clarity without the slight blue hue of the T2. The flip up lens covers on the T2 are a nice addition as well. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with either optic.
Pros:
- Dependable, durability, night vision compatible, battery life
Cons:
- price

Great optic, order screws tho
The optic is wonderful, I already had a knights armament skyscraper mount from redback 1 so I ordered the optic sans a mount, however I didn't realize it didn't come with screws, so order screws if you don't have some already.
Best Used for:
- cqb like A boss!

Law Enforcement
This product is Not compatible with Aimpoint Magnifier. Your Sight Picture will be smeared I had to return the item. I had to order the Aimpoint T-2 instead. The T-2 is an overall better product. YouTube the Reviews.

Best red dot!
I have 3 different red dots and the Aimpoint T1 is an easy winner. It is the lightest optic that I was able to find and is perfect for my lightweight build. I love that the battery lasts for 10 years and I can just leave it on with no concerns. The large dial on the side that controls brightness is very easy to adjust with or without gloves. It is an expensive red dot but you get what you pay for. I know understand why this red dot cost a little extra. In my opinion it is the best.

Aimpoint perfection
Still the gold standard in red dot sights, fast, reliable and light. Perfect for any RDS needs. I use the mostly on noo me defense and tactical type firearms but they are excellent for target shooting and close range hunting.

Best lightweight red dot available.
I've been using an Aimpoint T-1 Micro for over 15 years. The sight has never failed, never needs adjusting, and the battery lasts for years. I leave the sight on all the time, and just change out the battery every year on my birthday. Last week I was consistently hitting a 24" steel plate at 420 yards with a 14.5" AR15 topped with my new Aimpoint Micro T-1. Basically if you can see it, you can hit it with this sight (assuming you can shoot well). The only drawback to the Aimpoint is that with zero magnification, you can't identify targets past 100 yards or so, depending on how good your eyes are. For a do-it-all close-quarters defensive carbine, there is no better option. I use the Tango Down IO cover to protect it from bumps and scratches and I've found that works well. The sight is costly, but it's one of the few products where you truly get your money's worth. A+ product, highly recommended.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- durable
- reliable
- Waterproof
- great battery life
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- 200 yards or less

Finally got one!
I've seen so many great reviews on the T-1 and have only heard great things about it. I used the American defense mount so I can co-witness the magpul backup sights and it aligns perfectly. I hear the battery power can last up to three years.. That's a little hard to believe but why not give it a try? It's hard to justify the price at first but if it truly lives up to its reputation I think it's money well spent and it will pay for itself for many years. I'm very happy I finally made the dive and got the T-1. It appears to be very well built and just looks great on my AR. Now it's time for testing!
