I was a bit disappointed with these. Almost as much as the original BC flip caps and they don't close any where near as securely as the original. Bad product right out ofthe box
Bought 2 two separate times. Niether one would stay shut out of the box. Did not work on the scope either. Terrible. I had this product back 7 or 8 years ago and they were great. Quality now seems really poor.

Butler Creek flip up cap
Perfect fit on my Leupold 3/18x50mm scope. Inexpensive cover to protect an expensive scope. I run these on all my scopes, great in the rain and snow. It is possible to break these as with any scope cap. Keep an extra set on hand for quick replacement.

Good scope cap that opens quietly and easily. Only complaint I have is the bright yellow color of the button used to open the cap. Wish it came in black to match my scope better and not stand out so much.

Opinion on the Butler Creek Flex-open Lens covers.
These lens covers fit nice and tight. I like the "flip up" capability of the. The material used is flexible enough to put on the scope but tough enough to last. The lens covers arrived promptly and the fi and finish is what I would expect from a Butler Creek product. I use Butler Creek lens covers on all my scopes.

As always, the butler creek products fit perfectly. Just be sure to measure accurately. I have purchased several of these for different scopes and they always performed as promised. easy to install, easy to use, easy to operate. Impossible to lose once installed.

I highly recommend these covers for your scope, I hunted for years with the old style of covers that were a pain to use. These are easy to use, when you need to shoot, they are easy to open. The hardest thing to determine is the size you need to fit your scope, I went to the scope manufacturer web site to get exact measurement, used these to match up with chart provided by Butler when ordering, ended up order a second set, first didn't fit. In the future i will call Butler support before ordering to make sure the first order is correct.

Fit the 40mm scope nicely
I was concerned about how snugly this would fit on the 40mm eyepiece. The cover fit snugly and has shifted at all. It snaps shut and stays shut during transport and while at the range. Very pleased with fit and price.

Butler creek lens caps
Butler creek makes the best lens caps on the market. I've been using them for decades.They consistently fit as advertised. If your scope isn't listed in their tables, measure your aperture and objectives outside diameter and go to the specifications tables. I have Minox scopes and they're not listed, but was able to get the caps I needed.

These scope covers work great. Don't waste your money on those high-priced covers offered by other companies, spend it on ammunition. These covers are easy to install, built rugged and are durable. I have them mounted on all of my scopes and have never had any issues.
