My apologies. My original review was complaining about a rattle. However, the source of the rattle appears to be the buffer itself. Coming from a carbine system, which my buffers do not rattle, this was new to me. So if you can live with the rattle, everything else seems to be ok.
Something is out of spec. All it does is rattle, no matter how tight the screw is. It's not worth the effort to send back. I should have paid attention to some of the reviews. I kept the spring and buffer. Everything else went into the trash. You get what you pay for.
If you want undamaged and "purdy" this is for you. But as far as being milspec, forget it. The magazine well walls are out of spec. One side is twice as thick as the other. Why? Because the blank receiver was not milspec or the milling machine was not reset after batch change or setup incorrectly. This is a common problem nowadays with uppers and lowers. Just so you know.
Fist off, I had to pick "Do you Recommend This Product" or review would not be accepted so use your own judgement. Well, based on one negative review and virtually none anywhere else, I was scared to push the button on this one (I actually cancelled twice). It was received with no damage and everything looked OK. Now the scary stuff. As in the negative review, one side of the fill whip would not connect to the air fitting. I lightly forced the test plug in and out until it eventually would fit. Well after plugging the machine to 120 AC, I confirmed a quite fan spinning and all the lights came on. I hooked up the the whip and test plug and pushed the button and NOTHING!!!!! Back in the box it went and tried to call OP to return. After failing to contact Op I pulled the unit out of the box and tried again. I just started jabbing buttons in desperation and then all of a sudden it came on. I jabbed every button (on off + -) a few times and eventually they started working. I Had to screw the air release in and out a few times to stop the leaking. Hooked it up to my Armada at set at 200 bar. It took 5 minutes to fill from 1000 to 2900 which is pretty good to me. Its not as loud as I thought it would be (Fan gets louder when pumping) and I have continuously tested for 3 days now and feel rather confident with it (Haven't tried 12v DC yet). So work the test plug in and out till it fits and jab all the buttons with your fingers to "wake them up". Good luck if you push t
I really don't like making reviews but in this case I have to. DO NOT BUY. The one I received feels cheap (as expected)but it has dings in it front and rear from the vise that was used to hold it for assembly. The fit is loose but that was expected for the price. However, I was willing to overlook that but the slide release was assembled wrong or with the incorrect parts. It slides off the buffer tube just by squeezing and pulling to the rear. I did not want to try to adjust since its so cheap or bother with 2 weeks of return shipping so I just thru it in the trash. You have been warned.
