this is a quality item that required no bedding. I compared it to friends more expensive rails and this was no different in any way, it has the recoil lug which most of the other bargain rails lack. Install was about 2 minutes with a drop of blue lock tite. I would buy again with no hesitation.

installed perfectly and looks great, I see no need to spend more money on other mounts. Optics planet is so easy to deal with and if you have a problem returns are free which is rare. I mounted a red dot with picattany base and the fit was excellent
