paint causes the handle to bind up and scrape upper on Scar 17s nrch

Written on Nov 08, 2024

So I got mine in (fde color) and it ended up scraping the upper pretty bad leaving metal shavings all over the bolt. I had to do a thorough cleaning to get it all out. The issue is with the paint on the handle which causes it to press on the rails, bind and scrape.

To fix you have to grind the paint off and pray that solves it.

Absolutely do not recommend.

fantatic sight even with astigmatism

This sight is fantastic even with astigmatism
It is crystal clear and doesn’t cause eye strain like many red dot sights do.

On my scar 17s I didn’t even have to zero it as it came zeroed perfectly from the factory

a little chunky but good overall

On smaller bars it would be fine with medium to small hands. On thick boys like a scar it tends to be a little harder to form a good clamp over the rail. The light is bright and tends to last a good while before dimming down. As a multitasker it gets huge props. If it were just a little bit slimmer it would be perfect.

Big handed mofos: you will be fine.

Thing is quite sturdy and uses a metal rail to attach which means I don’t have to worry about breaking it as easily.
