Great griddle that lives up to the Camp Chef reputation, but the term “portable” is deceiving. Yes, the legs fold up, but this thing is just as big as a full size griddle and the griddle top is HEAVY. This also requires unique carry bags for this model that are tough to find. I was able to get a Camp Chef bag for the burner base, but still can’t find a bag for the griddle itself (even directly from Camp Chef!), which makes it even more cumbersome and inconvenient for traveling. We bought this for camping trips and found it to take up considerable space in our already limited RV storage area. Very nice unit, but it probably won’t be traveling with us much. Also the burner knobs could use some refinement. Med and above is WAY too hot for cooking and it’s tough to find that sweet spot in between Low and Med for the perfect cooking temperature.
