I had purchased the Crimson Trace 1911 Officer's/Defender/Compact, Lasergrip (red) a few years ago for a 1911... I purchased this set (green) for another 1911. Installation was a breeze and the laser required very little adjustment to acquire the necessary sight picture. The green version does seem brighter, and would have a greater advantage in a "non-nighttime" encounter. Both are great...
