Clint's Review of DNZ Products 1" Medium Mounts for Thompson Center Contender Handguns

Perfect fit on the Contender, no ring lapping required, and it is sized perfectly for the frame. I was apprehensive that it might be a bit bulky, but it complements the pistol and scope perfectly. I ordered medium height and it works very well with a 32 mm objective. Just bought another for the Encore. My experience is limited to TCs, but I like the DNZ for these applications.
Pros:
  • Easy installation, rock solid and no lapping needed
Cons:
  • Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Optics Planet has lowest prices I've found, so $$ not an issue here.
