Not an ar-10/lr 308 buffer - actually an ar-15 a2 rifle buffer in disguise. - Guntec USA AR-10/LR-308 Full Size A2 Rifle Buffer Spring Set

This is an AR-15 a rifle buffer being packaged as an AR-10/LR-308 buffer. Spring seems to be the right length and number of turns but the buffer is a full 6" long and too long to allow the BCG to engage the follower in the mag to hold the bolt open (308 buffer should be around 5.25" due to longer BCG) Also causes some flaky feeding at times. At first I thought it was a weight issue with the buffer until I realized that it was the same length as the A2 buffer I bought it to replace. The only difference between the buffers is the color of the metal they are made out of. Same exact weights and length. I wish I had done a side by side comparison when I bought it. I bought 2 of them and they are identical so I am sure it is no fluke. Shame on GunTec for passing this AR-15 buffer off as an AR-10/LR-308 buffer and shame on Optics Planet for not catching this and stopping it. My first bad experience with a purchase from OP. Now I have to try to get someone to make this right but it's been months since I purchased them ahead of this build. Ugh
