The HiperComp is a great muzzle compensator. I own 3 of them to use on my AR's with the Fostech Echo Gen 2 triggers. The do reduce the felt recoil and muzzle climb about 50%. However I do not recommend it for a barrel less than 16" because you will get tremendous muzzle flash and a lot of debris blow back.
