If you have a JP SCS buffer I can highly recommend you pick up one of these. For years now I've been running my guns without any retainer pin and while it made it easy to get the buffer out, it was also a pain when the buffer would just fall out if I wasn't careful when I opened up the gun.
The only thing wrong with the kit is, now that they are avaiable, is that they should be included in every SCS buffer

- Keeps the buffer in place, yet easy to remove the buffer when needed
Cons:
- Should be included with SCS buffer
