This was a gift to our daughter who loves stars, this automatically finds stars and tracks. Love it! Pros: easy to automate, looks awesome

The GPS feature only works in very wide open areas, and the software does not allow you to put in exact coordinates (only City/State) when the internal GPS fails to note where the 'scope is. The optics on this scope are excellent. The setup was very easy, It is a little slow in the alignment process, but seems to be alot better with the new firmware update
Pros: extremly easy set up
Cons: some minor aligment issues

ETX-LS 6 is a great tool

Right out of the box and ready to go (except for an immediate need to load updated firmware). The software on your laptop is easy to use and easy to update software. Since the update, the telescope works great! My 6 year old son and I are buiding a great pattern of learning that will last for years to come with this great telescope.
Pros: easy to use and built in information
Cons: menu navigation is a bit complex
