As Always With Nikon the optics on this 3x9x40 are excellent with plenty of eye relief and one of the best BDC Reticle's I have looked through. Clear optics throughout the range with excellent field of view and easy as 1,2,3 to sight in @ 100yds. I Haven't had the chance to take it out Hunting or range further than 100yds. as of yet But I know it will perform to my expectations and beyond. I have other well known brand scopes that are not as clear with Reticles far less superior that I paid a lot more money for. In my opinion This Scope is a Bargain.
