Works for me
This shell holder is used with my ELS belt and it makes it easy for me to reload shotgun. Other systems are out there, but the system works best for me. They are easy to take off and put on for different competitions. They are a little stiff at first and you would think that the polymer wouldn't be strong enough, but it works for me. Flexibility of the ELS system is the reason I use the ELS system and this shell holder. The 6-shell h older is too tall and presses into my upper body when moving or bending over. The 4-shell does not interfere.
Useless so far
How many engineers does it take to screw up and belt clip for shotgun shells? Just send me the product and let me use it. Instructions are long and complicated, I can't get the thing apart in order to 'configure it' for use. So far, it is useless and I wasted hard earned money. Do not recommend, your pocket works better than this hunk of plastic. Do not recommend, I may just send it back.....

great alternative to aluminum holders
I chose the safariland version of the shell holder because of the price (much less than the aluminum versions). i was concerned that the plastic would be cheap and fragile, but i find that the plastic is pretty thick and looks to be strong. some of the other versions out have a problem with the shells falling out if the holder is not filled to capacity, but this version holds each shell snugly so if you only have one or two shells in the holder, they won't fall out if you have to run or bend over. all in all i am happy with this purchase.
