Most Helpful Positive Review TacFire 1-4x24 = Great Product
Arrived in excellent condition, packaged well Seems well built for the money. Everything I expected. Solid rail mount, now securely perched on top of the 15-22 does all that I need it to for these old eyes.
Most Helpful Negative Review Do not buy
I'm not sure if this is for a big gun or what but every shot I took with 223 the sight moved so I put it on my 10/22 and same issue, I contacted tacfire and the support team member was so rude it's not even funny and basically absolutely will not stand behind there products, that's a no brainier for...

Basically a good scope but mount issues

by Southerner, from AL, United States Written on September 5, 2018
I bought this outfit with the top-mounted red dot sight. When I received it, the sight didn't work. One of the wires was off. Fixed that with some solder. I could have returned it but would had to have returned the whole rig and I didn't think it was worth that.

So I took it to the range to sight it in. Could not get consistent results which I believe was looseness in the mounts. The rings were tight so it must have to do with the attachment to the base. This is my first experience with flip-off mounts. It looks like they can be tightened and maybe that would solve the problem but I've lost confidence and will switch to separate rings with conventional screw attachment. This mount is too high for my rifle (Ruger American Ranch) anyway. Probably great for an AR.

As to the scope, clarity is good, clicks are positive, power and focus turn easily and the 3 color, 3 intensity illuminated reticle looks great.

Good quality

Seems well built and I really like the reticle. Very solid and easy to mount. Can't wait to shoot it. I'm not sure how well I like the sight on top of the scope but it looks cool lol. The ability to change colors of the dot is really nice as well

Surprisingly Good

by motorboy, from PA, United States Written on February 7, 2018
At this price point i really didn't expect much. I just needed something for some low light varmint hunting around the farm. I am shocked at how decent this little scope and mount are! The reflex sight for the top is pretty cheep (It feels like something you would have on an airsoft gun) but i didn't plan on using it anyway. The scope and mount are solid, the adjustment knobs have a good firm feel to them, the Illuminated reticle woks well in overcast and low light situations (It's a bit under powered in full daylight). The basic reticle is very much like a german #4; my preferred choice. The lens quality doesn't quite match up with my Nikon or Leupold scopes, but at less than 1/3 the price it's really decent. The mount holds a 50 yard zero when i take it off and on. I like how it also came with a plain top ring so i could remove the unnecessary top picatinny. The lens caps close with a good firm snap, but are still easy to open a close. All in all, I am really happy and surprised by the Tacfire CQB.
Pros:
  • low price, sturdy, works very well!
Cons:
  • Nothing significant.
Best Used for:
  • 3 gun, and varmint hunting

Quality in a good price range

by DSII, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on November 11, 2017
Really like the 12 screw mounting hardware for a solid mount. Easy to adjust locking cams on the quick release. Quick to sight in with positive clicks for each adjustment. Did not like the red dot just because of location and needing such a small flat head to adjust. Actually just pulled it off for later use. All three colors showed up great in low light or on dark backgrounds. Would buy again.
Pros:
  • QUALITY MOUNT
  • Good color for all three
  • positive click adjustments
Cons:
  • Red dot not in a good position
Best Used for:
  • close range AR style rifles

Shipped quick, nicely packaged, easy to sight in, glass is clear, crosshairs look good, came with an extra battery, extra top ring with no rail in case you like it sleek, and the qd mount is a huge plus

Good tool, great price

by Pat, from OH, United States Written on July 31, 2017
The scope is a lot higher quality than I thought it would be...battery's were dead when I received it. I like the quick release . Easy to sight in . Somewhat heavier than I thought it would be . I would definitely recommend this product
