The grip is really solid and i have not run into any heat issues but it is very thick. Personally i like a foreguard to be a bit thinner so i can get a good handle on it.

The description states that it will work with Mil Std 1913 Picatinny Rails ... this one does not fit on ProMag Archangel Precision stocks for the M1A or the Mini-14. The sides extend too high and prevent engagement with the picatinny groove on the grip. They look nice and feel solidly made, but I can not use them.

The description says that it woill fit on any standard picatinny rail. However, the sides of the BG8 extend above the rail mount and prevent the mount for engaging the foregrip picatinny rail of my Archangel Stocks (M1A & Mini-14). The product seems to be made well, but it does not fit everyu stock with a picatinny rail.

since vertical hand grips are not legal on an AR pistol I needed something that off sets at a 45 degrees. this battlegrip foregrip fit the ticket. slid right on and secured with the necessary hardware. looks good, works good, whats not to like?

Never heard of this company nor does it have any reviews. I'll be the first. It is a little large in size but relatively light. kind of difficult to slide onto rails so you should use a rubber mallet to get it to desired spot. tightens easy and thats really about it. great hand placement and non slip.
