I was looking for a new lighter weight birding binocs for travel. The 8360's were light, compact, instant vision when raised (no searching for the picture) water resistant, reasonably priced and provided excellent clarity. Except for the narrow depth of field gives a view nearly as good as my friend's Swarovskis and Leicas for 60 - 80% less cost. Worth considering!
