Most signal mirrors are larger and bulkier, so they don't fit in your wallet, and are much more expensive, albeit more effective, but only if you have them with you. In my opinion, this mirror is more effective than a CD, it's so small, there is no reason to leave it behind and the price is very affordable. I not only ordered for myself, but also for the scouts that attend our troop's basic wilderness survival.
