VWR Circulus Stir Bars, Color-Coded F37170-5002

Assemble and mix problem liquids, highly viscous mixtures and round (convex) bottom vessels with the sturdy stir bar, then wipe any remaining debris from the top of the mixture with an old ebriquette during the stirring process. The bar, with its Teflon resin end discs, is held in place by a small Teflon resin disk. When the Teflon end disk has been removed, the color-coded, 8 mm diameter bar remains in place. When the color-coded, 20 mm diameter Teflon resin disk is removed, the magnetic stirring bar remains in place, and no further damage is done to the mixture.
