Teflon® resin-coated magnetic stir bars offer a sharp, stainless steel edge, and a half-moon shape ensuring a complete mix without abrasion. Soft, ridged, and/or grooved resin end discs eliminate stickiness, while the rust-resistant, integral, magnetic stir bar retains its shape and holds fluids tightly. Long, smooth ends retain fluids and eliminate metal particles in fluids and eliminate the need for container bending or special stir bar adapters. Manufactured in two lengths, 36mm and 54mm, each is designed as a 8mm diameter bar with solid, color-coded, 20mm (0.79in) diameter Teflon resin end discs. Ordering Information: The 36mm Circulus model has a flanged base and fits inside most test tube style wells. The 54mm model has a flanged base and fits inside most Teflon® resin end discs.
