Smooth running and excellent centering characteristics make Spinbar bars highly desirable for use in chemical synthesis, distillation, titrations, and other chemical operations. A pivot ring minimizes the contact area of the bar to the vessel, reduces friction, and lessens marring of plastic containers (7.9x12mm model has no pivot ring). Rounded edges reduce marring of plastic containers. Smooth running and excellent centering characteristics make Spinbar bars a popular choice in metal and plastics chemistry; 7.9x12mm model has a minimum contact area of the bar to the vessel, minimizing friction, reducing friction, and lessening marring of plastic containers (7.9x19mm model has no pivot ring).
