The Luna Optics 6-36x50mm Digital G3 Day & Night Vision Rifle Scope uses a fixed quick release picatinny mount. It cannot be shifted to allow the optic to sit closer or further from the shooter. The manufacturer does not provide any information on what type of mounting system it uses and whether or not it can be removed and replaced. I believe it is a proprietary mounting system but I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer for further clarification.

The Luna Optics 6-36x50mm Digital G3 Day & Night Vision Rifle Scope has a digital magnification of 6-36x that can be utilized day or night. The max night viewing range of this optic is 438 yards or 400m with the IR illuminator. You can still use the 6-36x magnification with the night vision and IR Illuminator.
