I really like Hornady products. I recently purchased a box of self defense ammo. The casings are brass. In 2021 Hornady stated that this was temporary. It’s been 2 years now, time to get back to the nickel clad casings.

Clean ammo that groups well. I haven't had to use this ammo (or any ammo) for self defense, but the design of the bullet seems like it should provide good expansion and penetration.
