DAS - Serrated Blade is simply a fully serrated blade version of the original recessed blade. The serrated blade option was added to satisfy many shooters' need for more defined sight picture. Fits certain model Springfield Armory, Colt, Wilson Combat, STI International, Les Baer Custom, Rock River Arms, Dan Wesson 1911s and many others. This rear sight comes paiRed with our contoured base fiber optic blade front sight which incorporates a bright fiber optic rod that draws the shooter's eye to the front post for sight acquisition and recovery. Wire-EDM machined from 4140 chrome moly steel and heat treated to a hardness of RC 38-40, this front sight is definitely going to withstand the test of time. This sight comes with a 0.100'' wide blade that is partially serrated. the Fiber optic rod is 0.060'' in diameter and is well shielded while also offering superior visibility. Compatible with Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.330" x 65 x 0.075") as typically found on both customized and factory 1911 pistols.
