Lee Taper Crimp Die For 45 Colt - Lee's taper crimp dies ensure reliable positive ignition of the case neck by driving the bullet or casing into the chamber. Used with a crimp tool, it is a simple process to put a crimp on a case neck that has been crimpt with a specific degree of tension, or "crimp". This provides the necessary "tension" to crimp the case mouth closed to eliminate the "pout" that can form on the case mouth when a cartridge is inserted. Used primarily by reloaders who want a consistent tight crimp regardless of the type of bullet or case used. Can also be used with any brand of progressive or semi-automatic pistol.
