Trulock PHOHP Precision Hunter 12 Gauge - Precision hunters expect a lot from their choke tubes. A lot of pressure is placed on the chokes when they are put on the weapon. The pressure in the choke determines the rate at which the shot will be fired and therefore the velocity at which the shot will travel. Fast reloading and with little wind drift the chokes are frequently used when shooting lead shot. Many shooters also use a combination of a fast and slow chokes in the same barrel. This one uses a cylinder type choke with a long parallel section. The cylinder helps the chokes hold together during rigorous use. There is a limited amount of elongation, meaning the cylinders are truly modified, but do not attain the ported gas ports necessary for full functioning. This choke is a perfect choke for situations where the shooter must load the shotgun themselves. This choke has a knurled end to allow for easy installation and removal. It has been fitted with a gas port, which allows for easy flush fitting without having to remove any chokes from the weapon.
