The Unico Lid Latch Lock Assembly is a replacement lid latch assembly for Unico C826 & C828 Portaspin Blood Centrifuges. This Lid Latch Lock Assembly was not included in the original package, but can be purchased separately. The Unico Lid Latch Lock Assembly allows the lid latch to be locked in the "open" position while the lid is spun. This lid latch lock assembly is essential for closing and locking the lid while spinning the lid. It is also a good practice to periodically check the lid for any foreign objects which may be entangled in the gasket. This will help to avoid any damage to the lid and/or gasket.image
