These heavy-duty 1000W ovens can be used for heating media, electrophoresis applications, staining preparations, or drying samples for moisture analysis, and are an effective alternative to hot plates or convection ovens. The Argos oven is a commercial microwave meant to replace the domestic microwaves that many laboratories use for general heating. Both models feature a unique bottom energy feed that eliminates the need for a turntable to provide even heating. Ovens have been designed to withstand repeated use without overheating, making them ideal for constant laboratory use.

The dial model features a five-minute dial timer for applications requiring less microwave time. Unit comes complete with an audible tone to signal completion.

The programmable model features ten user-programmable memory pads that allow for easy one-step starts to microwave applications. Three power levels (high, medium, and defrost) combine with three power stages to allow total heating control not possible in most microwaves. This model features an LED screen and timer that can be set to operate continuously for up to 99 hours, 99 minutes. It is also equipped with an audible tone to signal completion, a self-diagnostic program, and a Braille keypad.
