The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod is Ashburys newest TACT3 model featuring independent fine vertical and horizontal movement controls of field optics weighing up to ten pounds. The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod is a strong lightweight compact tactical tripod for use with observation spotting scopes in the prone to sitting position that includes a detachable mounting base plate, and terrain leveling gimbal for use on uneven terrain.
The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod is a rugged field tripod platform for use with a wide range of high magnification field optics, laser range finders, thermal cameras and night vision devices. The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod pan-tilt head provides 65 degrees of vertical adjustment and affords 360 degrees of horizontal adjustment using large ergonomic 30mm control knobs. Fine tuning is controlled by two independent smaller knobs that provide approximately 6 degrees of movement in either direction per rotation. Optics are mounted to the Accupoint tripod head using a detachable base plate with a standard 0.25-20 TPI mounting screw.
The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod weighs approximately 3,5 pounds, has a versatile fine motion control tripod head with a detachable mounting base plate, multi-section mast, terrain leveling gimbal and a wide stable tripod leg base. The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod deploys quickly and quietly providing rock solid stability.
The TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod mast can be detached from the tripod base and used with an internally stored ground spike as a monopod. Constructed of high strength lightweight aerospace grade aluminum alloys the TACT3 Accupoint Compact Tactical Tripod is finished with a gray hard coat anodized coating.
