Bel-Art Portable Contained Glove Box Systems (PB-GBS) are composed of a clear acrylic front panel and a front port door with a gas valve handle. The containment box is fully molded of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with all joints rounded and sealed with neoprene gloves. This Bel-Art Lab Glove Box System requires no power supply and can be operated with one person. The operating and witness stations are located on the 2 side walls of the cabinet for flexibility in location and movement of the glove box. The spring loaded fall-back ventilation system and purge lug on the rear wall of the cabinet serve as a safety feature and risk reduction in emergency situations. All tie down points are located outside the cabinet, under the bench top. This allows the drawers to be removed from the cabinet and the gloves to be stowed away for safety. The window and door of the glove box are made of clear acrylic which permits observation of operations and risk assessment. The neoprene gloves are easily removed and stored in the bottom of the glove box.
