The Bel-Art Stir Bar, Magnesium Chromium Ptfe (w/PTFE) Black Capillary Endplate & Silicon Carbide (C) Endplate is an essential tool for physically stirring (mixing) small volumes in vessels such as vials, tubes and gradient makers. The stir bar, magnetic stirring bar, is designed with a hemispherical shape with a centered, C-shaped, heavy-duty, cylindrical magnet bonded to the surface of the bar. The audible and tactile Tamber (colored) of the Tamber (PTFE) endplate assures that the stirring bars are in fact, magnetic stirring bars. Tamber: A rolling milling machine, polishing drum, two-piece pellet stirring bars, etc. This Bel-Art Magnetic Stirring Bar is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2008 facility, as verified by SGS certification. Application: For mixing small volumes in vessels such as vials, tubes and gradient makers.
